CHRISTOPHER Not far from Nová Paka is the Pecka castle, where at one time the great enlightened nobleman Kryštof Harant from Polžice, Bezdružice and the lord of Pec were active. He was executed as one of the Czech lords on Old Town Square in Prague after the Battle of White Mountain. Kryštof is a light draft beer with a fuller taste and an alcohol content of 4.5%.
